Patryk Czachowski Media
Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This website, thepatrykc.com (the „Website”), is operated by Patryk Czachowski Media („we”, „us”), which is the controller of your personal data within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can contact us about anything related to your personal data at info@thepatrykc.com.
1. What data we collect
The Website has one contact form, no user accounts and no analytics trackers. We collect personal data only when you choose to contact us:
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address, the type of project, the timing, an approximate budget range and your message. The enquiry is saved in the Website’s database and sent to us by e-mail. We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless they turn into a project, in which case they become part of the project correspondence.
- E-mail: when you write to info@thepatrykc.com we receive your e-mail address, name (if provided) and the content of your message.
- Phone: when you call or text us, we receive your phone number.
- Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time of the request) in standard server logs, kept for security and troubleshooting purposes.
2. Why we process your data
- to respond to your enquiry and communicate about potential or ongoing projects (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps prior to entering into a contract, or Art. 6(1)(f) – our legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to us);
- to keep the Website secure and diagnose technical issues (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest).
We keep correspondence only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Cookies
The Website uses only a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential / functional storage: small browser-storage entries remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice and which language (English or Polish) you chose. They contain no personal data.
- YouTube (third party): portfolio videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced, click-to-play mode – no YouTube content loads and no YouTube cookies are set until you click play. Once you play a video, YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
- Google Fonts: the Website’s typefaces may be served from Google’s servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google in order to deliver the font files.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the Website will keep working.
4. Who we share data with
Your data may be processed by our hosting provider (server infrastructure) and e-mail provider, acting on our behalf. If you play an embedded video, data is processed by YouTube / Google as described above. We do not transfer your data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, obtain a copy of it, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Poland: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl. To exercise any of these rights, e-mail us at info@thepatrykc.com.
6. Links to other websites
The Website links to external services (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services – please review their own privacy policies.
7. Information security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (TLS encryption, up-to-date software, restricted access) to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its „last updated” date, is always available on this page.
